Former Infoblox CRO brings deep go-to-market, DDI and infrastructure software experience to support EfficientIP’s next phase of growth.
PARIS and SAN FRANCISCO, June 16, 2026 — EfficientIP, a global leader in DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (DDI) and DNS security solutions, today announced the appointment of Bill McCarthy to its Board of Directors as an independent director.
McCarthy brings extensive experience scaling enterprise technology, SaaS and infrastructure software businesses, with deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, field operations and board governance. He most recently served as a board director of Appian and is Board Chair of Logos, where he previously served as Chief Executive Officer.
Earlier in his career, McCarthy served as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Field Operations and Chief Revenue Officer of Infoblox, where he helped scale the company’s global go-to-market organization across DDI, network control, security and cloud-related markets. He also held multiple leadership roles at Cisco Systems, most recently serving as Vice President for the Americas in Cisco’s Service Provider business.
“Bill brings a rare combination of DDI market expertise, enterprise go-to-market leadership and operating experience that will be highly valuable as EfficientIP enters its next phase of growth,” said Norman Girard, Chief Executive Officer of EfficientIP. “His experience scaling infrastructure software businesses and working with enterprise customers around the world will help guide our continued investment in product innovation, customer success and international expansion.”
EfficientIP helps organizations simplify, secure and automate critical network infrastructure services through its integrated DDI and DNS security platform. “I am pleased to join EfficientIP’s Board of Directors at such an important moment in the company’s growth journey,” said Bill McCarthy. “EfficientIP has built a strong reputation in DDI and DNS security, and I look forward to working with Norman, the leadership team and the board as the company continues to expand its global footprint and deliver value to customers.”
McCarthy’s appointment follows Francisco Partners’ acquisition of EfficientIP and reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership, governance and strategic support as it scales globally.
