St. Dominic’s Hospital Selects EfficientIP to Simplify IPAM and Centrally Manage DNS and DHCP

West Chester, Pennsylvania, September15 th 2015 : EfficientIP, a leading developer of DDI solutions (DNS/DHCP services, and IP Address Management), announced today that St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi has se- lected EfficientIP’s SOLIDserverTM to fully manage their DNS/DHCP and IP Address Management architecture. Prior to selecting EfficientIP, St. Dominic’s had been using Microsoft- based DNS and DHCP services. The hospital’s environment was not deployed to easily support High Availability (HA). The use of many spreadsheets was a source of constant errors that created a real bottleneck in deploying new network services. Additionally, the lack of delegation meant IT was the only source of IP addressing, which created a lack of control and documentation. St. Dominic’s researched different options over the past several years to replace its existing Microsoft DNS/DHCP ser- vices and spreadsheets with a fully integrated DDI solution. Additionally, they required the ability to overlay with their Microsoft services until they could be replaced with a Multi-Master DNS environment.
