EfficientIP SOLIDserver™ 9.0 DDI is the first release in the new 9.x series. This release delivers a stable, reliable foundation for upcoming 9.x innovations while introducing key features to improve usability, security, and operational efficiency. New functionality brought by 9.0 includes the following:
Release 9.0 introduces a modern UI engine that is more responsive, more performant, and more secure. The design has been modernized for consistency, with both Dark and Light themes to match user preferences and improve usability. Alignment with UX standards means navigation and tasks have become simpler and faster. Accessibility remains a priority, with WCAG 2.2 compliance maintained.
In addition, while not part of SOLIDserver 9.0, a new enhancement to DNS Threat Pulse (DTP), the addition of a DoH category in the feed, was released in December 2025.
This feature closes a growing blind spot where users and devices bypass corporate DNS security through encrypted DoH, often enabled by default in browsers. It restores visibility and control while minimizing exposure of internal network structures and data. Based on live-tested domains, it delivers high accuracy with very low false positives. Included in all DTP plans at no extra cost and available in CQF format for immediate use. All DTP customers benefit automatically from it, no activation required.
